Following a entertaining regular season and several exciting finishes to conference tournaments this weekend, the 2022 NCAA Baseball Tournament bracket is set. The first round is set to take place June 3-6 across 16 Regional sites, and the second round will take place at the Super Regional site of the higher remaining seed.

Tennessee is the No. 1 overall seed, followed by No. 2 Stanford, No. 3 Oregon State, No. 4 Virginia Tech, No. 5 Texas A&M, No. 6 Miami, No. 7 Oklahoma State and No. 8 East Carolina. They will have the inside track to those Super Regional series and will be favored to make the College World Series field of eight in Omaha.

The NCAA’s baseball tournament format starts with a double-elimination round which groups teams into pods of four. At the end, the last team without two losses over the weekend advances. The second round is a best-of-three series between two teams. Then, as the College World Series begins, the double elimination format resumes to produce two teams which play another best-of-three series for the national championship.

The first four teams out were NC State, Old Dominion, Rutgers, and Wofford.
