Palestine (Texas) four-star cornerback S’Viorean Martin has committed to Texas Tech, he announced on Thursday.

Martin chose the Red Raiders over finalists Houston and Kansas State, as well as more than a dozen other reported offers.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder is the No. 362 overall prospect and No. 35 CB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 48 player in Texas.

A track star who also plays on both sides of the ball on the gridiron, Martin also previously considered the likes of SMU, Michigan State and Baylor. As a junior, he logged 28 tackles, four pass breakups and a forced fumble while also catching 18 passes for 229 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
