4-star DL Bott Mulitalo decommits from Oregon

Four-star American Fork (Utah) Lone Peak defensive lineman Bott Mulitalo has decommitted from Oregon, according to Blair Angulo of 247Sports.
Mulitalo had been committed to the Ducks since December 1, when he chose them over offers from USC, Arizona, Washington, Utah, Texas A&M and others.
Since that commitment though, other schools have remain in pursuit of Mulitalo, who also stars as an offensive tackle for Lone Peak. Washington, USC and the home-state Utes are among them, and he has already locked in an official visit with the Trojans for the the weekend of June 6.
The Huskies recently hosted him for a massive junior day event and are also considered one of the top contenders going forward.
He becomes Oregon’s second decommitment in the past three weeks, joining four-star Lincoln Way-East (Ill.) quarterback Jonas Williams, who flipped from the Ducks to USC on February 21. Mulitalo’s defection drops the Ducks from No. 1 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings to No. 2 behind the Trojans as well.

Mulitalo looking to move to the offensive line
The 6-foot-3, 260-pounder is the No. 142 overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 12 defensive lineman and No. 3 recruit in Utah this cycle.
As a junior this fall, he racked up 42 tackles to go along with 5.5 sacks and an interception.
However, according to On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons, Mulitalo is looking to play along the offense line at the next level. And that decision is part of his reasoning for the decommitment from the Ducks.
Oregon has a pledge from elite offensive tackle Kodi Greene and is among the top schools for the nation’s No. 1 and No. 2 OTs, Jackson Cantwell and Immanuel Iheanacho.
