St. Louis Christian Brothers College four-star wide receiver Corey Simms over 30 offers and the playmaker in the midwest is ready to narrow his focus to a dozen schools.

Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee and USC are his top 12 schools.

“These schools made the cut because of their consistency, how transparent they have been, how and where I fit into the program and how they have prioritized me,” Simms told On3.

The No. 330 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking has relationships with coaches on each staff. He has close to three dozen offers and out of the 12 schools on his list, he has visited Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Penn State, Tennessee and USC.

He has no visits planned for April and he turns his focus to finalizing his official visit schedule in the coming months. Simms already has official visits to USC (June 7), Nebraska (June 14) and Missouri (June 21) lined up.

He is in no rush to make a decision. It could come during the season, but he is ready to move forward with the process.

“When I commit, I am looking for my participation in the program and how I will grow and develop,” Simms added. “Relationships, consistency and trust are factors too.

“I am ready now to continue developing my relationships with coaches and identify the pros and cons in each school. My parents and I have been moving through the recruiting process and this is the start of things by cutting my list.”
