Arkansas State QB Jaylen Raynor plans to enter NCAA Transfer Portal
Arkansas State junior quarterback Jaylen Raynor plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3’s Hayes Fawcett reports.
In his third season as Arkansas State‘s starting quarterback, Raynor completed 66.5% of his passes for 3,361 yards and 19 touchdowns with 11 interceptions. He also rushed for 423 yards and seven more scores on the ground. His 3,361 passing yards ranks 12th in all of college football.
Across three seasons of play in the Sun Belt Conference, Raynor boasts 8,694 passing yards, 52 passing touchdowns, 1,183 rushing yards, 15 rushing touchdowns, and 28 interceptions. He was named Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year in 2023 and has led the Red Wolves to a 21-16 record with wins in the 2024 68 Ventures Bowl and the 2025 Xbox Bowl.
In Raynor’s final game as a member of the Arkansas State program, he passed for 288 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-28 win over Missouri State in the aforementioned Xbox Bowl.

Prior to enrolling at Arkansas State, Raynor was ranked as a three-star prospect and the No. 2,345 overall player in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus. He was the No. 137-ranked QB in his class and the No. 58 overall player from the state of North Carolina, hailing from East Forsyth.
