More on Auburn vs. West Virginia
Auburn had a five-game winning streak snapped this week in rather convincing fashion when Texas A&M torpedoed the Tigers in a 79-63 result. The loss was just Auburn’s fourth all season, with the Tigers once again looking like a probable low seed in the NCAA Tournament.
West Virginia, on the other hand, is coming off the end of a recent run of futility. The Wildcats had lost five straight before finally knocking off a ranked TCU team. West Virginia then lost to a top-10 Texas squad at home, but followed that up with a win on the road at Texas Tech.
