Baye Fall visiting Auburn this weekend, locks in Texas official visit
Las Vegas, Nevada – On3 Consensus 5-star center Baye Fall will begin the summer official visit process this weekend with a trip to Auburn.
The 6-foot-10, 205-pound athletic big man with ideal arm length sees a near perfect fit with the Auburn program.
“Auburn is a good school, you know,” Fall told On3 Sunday night. “They are in the SEC, and I like the way they played this past year with Jabari Smith. They helped turn him into what he is, and I think I would fit there very well.”
Fall, the No. 1 center in the country, also plans to make official visits to Rutgers and Texas. He has locked in a visit date with the Longhorns.
“I’ll probably go to Rutgers next, and then I go to Texas September 10.”
The tradition of big men coming through Austin has Texas in the mix.
“Texas seems like a good school for me. Because of the tradition of a lot of bigs coming out of Texas. There are some similarities the way I play and some of the guys before. I know they have a different coaching staff now, but Coach (Rodney) Terry was there when Kevin Durant. We have a good connection.”
Arkansas will get another visit
Fall was on hand in February for the Arkansas Razorbacks home game against Kentucky in what was a jaw dropping environment. That very successful visit will lead to an official visit prior to a decision.

“Arkansas will get one for sure. I do like Arkansas. The last time was an unofficial when I went there for the Kentucky game. Really good school. Fun to be around having been to their practice and their game. Coach (Eric) Musselman is a fun coach. They are very supportive, and always checking on me. They have a good playing style.”
For all the colleges in contention, overcoming the Overtime Elite league could be a steep hill to climb.
“I mean, it’s an option right now talking to my dad and stuff. When the time comes, we will do whatever is best for us.”
Fall is the No. 9 overall recruit in the class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally-weighted, industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
