The Big 12 will become the second conference to share video from the conference’s replay center for its broadcasts, allowing viewers to watch replay reviews from the replay center for Big 12 games, sources told On3.

The Big 12 will begin this feature on Saturday’s games. It will be provided on all Big 12 games broadcast on Fox, ESPN and TNT, an industry source said. Friday’s Tulsa at Oklahoma State contest will not offer replay review access because American Conference officials are officiating the game.

The ACC was the first conference to provide the groundbreaking collaboration in bringing unprecedented transparency to instant replay reviews.

The Big 12 will provide only the video from its replay center this season, a source said. However, next year the Big 12 will provide both video and audio from its replay center for all games.

On3’s Andy Staples recently reported, “We should demand this level of transparency in every game from every league.”

In 2023, the ACC first began sharing its game day operations center video with ESPN. Last season, the ACC allowed ESPN officiating analyst Matt Austin to listen to replay conversations.

The Alliance of American Football debuted the replay transparency concept in its lone season in 2000. Later that year, the rebooted XFL made replay reveals standard procedure.
