College Football Announcer Schedule: Broadcasters for conference championship games
The regular season is in the books and conference championship games are on the horizon. A weekend of college football title games is in place, and the full announcer schedule is set.
Friday features four conference championships, including two with College Football Playoff implications. The Sun Belt and American will be front-and-center with at least one spot for Group of 6 teams to make the 12-team bracket. James Madison is looking to win the Sun Belt, and the winner of Tulane vs. North Texas is likely to make the CFP.

From there, the Power Four title games take place Saturday, starting with the Big 12 in the early slot and the SEC in late-afternoon. Here is the announcer schedule for every 2025 college football championship game, according to data compiled by 506 Sports.
Sun Belt: Troy at James Madison
Date/Time: Dec. 5, 7 p.m. ET
Channel: ESPN
Announcers: Anish Shroff, Andre Ware
At No. 25 in the penultimate College Football Playoff rankings, James Madison has an opportunity to sneak into the bracket, depending on how some other conference championship games go. The Dukes will take on Troy in the Sun Belt Championship on Friday.
American: North Texas at Tulane

Date/Time: Dec. 5, 8 p.m. ET
Channel: ABC
Announcers: Mark Jones, Roddy Jones
Based on the penultimate College Football Playoff rankings, the winner of the American Conference is likely advancing. Tulane and North Texas will square off Friday night on ABC with Mark Jones and Roddy Jones on the call.
Big 12: BYU vs. Texas Tech
Date/Time: Dec. 6, Noon ET
Channel: ABC
Announcers: Joe Tessitore, Jesse Palmer
One of two games in the Noon window on Saturday, the Big 12 Championship is going to draw plenty of attention. Texas Tech is trying to secure a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff while BYU is looking to not only snag a bid, but also cause chaos in the bracket.
SEC: Georgia vs. Alabama
Date/Time: Dec. 6, 4 p.m. ET
Channel: ABC
Announcers: Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit
Once again, the SEC Championship will be in the 4 p.m. window in Atlanta as Georgia and Alabama square off at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will be on the call for the sixth matchup between the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide in the title game.

Big Ten: Indiana vs. Ohio State

Perhaps the most intriguing conference championship game on the slate will be in Charlotte where five-loss Duke takes on Virginia. A Blue Devils victory would create plenty of questions for the College Football Playoff committee while the Cavaliers would clinch a spot in the field with a win.
