The latest NCAA wrestling rankings from InterMat are here now that Week 6 of the regular season is in the books! InterMat ranks No. 1 to 33 in all 10 weight classes.

Over the weekend, we saw CKLV in Las Vegas and some interesting duals with fascinating results. That caused some shakeups in the rankings! We even had a new No. 1!

So without further ado, let’s dive into the latest batch of in-season wrestling rankings from InterMat. We start at 125 by getting a look at the Top 10 in each weight.

125 lbs.

1. Vincent Robinson, NC State
2. Luke Lilledahl, Penn State
3. Nic Bouzakis, Ohio State
4. Eddie Ventresca, Virginia Tech
5. Sheldon Seymour, Lehigh
6. Dean Peterson, Iowa
7. Jett Strickenberger, West Virginia (+6)
8. Troy Spratley, Oklahoma State (-1)
9. Jore Volk, Minnesota (-1)
10. Nicolar Rivera, Wisconsin (-1)

The top six in InterMat’s 125 rankings stayed the same but Strickenberger is back in. He vaulted up six spots and is now 9-2 on the season. It helps when you win the CKLV title, going 5-0 in the tournament.

133 lbs.

1. Lucas Byrd, Illinois
2. Ben Davino, Ohio State
3. Evan Frost, Iowa State (+1)
4. Drake Ayala, Iowa (+1)
5. Klyer Larkin, Arizona State (+14)
6. Tyler Knox, Stanford
7. Zan Fugitt, Wisconsin (-4
8. Jacob Van Dee, Nebraska (-1)
9. Dominick Serrano, Northern Colorado (-1)
10. Marcus Blaze, Penn State (+1)

Fugitt dropped four spots with his first loss of the season so 133 saw some changes. How about Larkin? He moved up 14 spots with a tremendous weekend at CKLV and is now 10-0 on the season. Arizona State has something cooking with the Larkin brothers.

141 lbs.

1. Jesse Mendez, Ohio State
2. Sergio Vega, Oklahoma State
3. Brock Hardy, Nebraska
4. Anthony Echemendia, Iowa State
5. Joey Olivieri, Rutgers (+7)
6. Ryan Jack, NC State (+1)
7. Aaron Nagao, Penn State (+1)
8. Zeth Romney, Cal Poly (-3)
9. Nasier Bailey, Iowa (+1)
10. Cory Land, Northern Iowa (+4)

InterMat’s rankings at 141 didn’t change too much, but Olivieri made a statement, beating Jack head to head in their dual over the weekend. He’s now 10-0 and ranked the highest he’s been in his career. Mendez is still the king of this weight.

149 lbs.

1. Shayne Van Ness, Penn State
2. Jaxon Joy, Cornell (+2)
3. Kaleb Larkin, Arizona State (-1)
4. Cross Wasilewski, Penn (+1)
5. Chance Lamer, Nebraska (+1)
6. Ethan Stiles, Ohio State (+1)
7. Koy Buesgens, NC State (+1)
8. Ryder Block, Iowa (+1)
9. Eligh Rivera, Princeton (+14)
10. Jacob Frost Iowa State (NR)

Joy had a great CKLV and is now 10-1 on the season and InterMat’s No. 2 at 149. Everyone’s still chasing Van Ness, but it’s crowded up there. Frost is in the rankings for Paniro Johnson and Rivera made moves after a great weekend in Vegas.

157 lbs.

1. Ty Watters, West Virginia
2. Landon Robideau, Oklahoma State
3. Vince Zerban, Iowa State
4. Daniel Cardenas, Stanford
5. Brandon Cannon, Ohio State
6. Antrell Taylor, Nebraska
7. Kannon Webster, Illinois
8. Rafael Hipolito, Oklahoma
9. Gavin Drexler, North Dakota State
10. Logan Rozynski, Lehigh

The top 10 at 157 is mostly the same, but Duke has arrived. If you didn’t think the freshman, who’s the US Senior Team rep, didn’t belong this high yet, well, you have another thing coming. He was up 14-3 on Rozynski before the latter had to injury default in their match.

165 lbs.

1. Mitchell Mesenbrink, Penn State
2. Ladarion Lockett, Oklahoma State
3. Mikey Caliendo, Iowa
4. Joey Blaze, Purdue
5. Matt Bianchi, Arkansas-Little Rock
6. Hunter Garvin, Stanford
7. Max Brignola, Lehigh
8. Ryder Downey, Northern Iowa (+4)
9. Braeden Scoles, Illinois (-1)
10. Andrew Sparks, Minnesota (-1)

The top seven in InterMat’s 165 pound rankings remained the same after the weekend. However, Downey is up four spots and is now 7-1 on the season. Everyone is chasing Mesenbrink these days as the Nittany Lion aims for back to back national titles.

174 lbs.

1. Levi Haines, Penn State
2. Simon Ruiz, Cornell
3. Matthew Singleton, NC State
4. Patrick Kennedy, Iowa
5. Carson Kharchla, Ohio State
6. Christopher Minto, Nebraska
7. Carter Schubert, Oklahoma (NR)
8. Danny Wask, Navy (-1)
9. Lenny Pinto, Rutgers (-1)
10. Jared Simma, Northern Iowa (+1)

Schubert is in the lineup for Oklahoma at 174 and made his debut in InterMat’s rankings. Otherwise, things are pretty much the same, except Simma moved up a spot to get into the top 10. Schubert will wrestle Pinto, who was surprisingly pinned by Singleton Sunday, at Rutgers this weekend in a massive dual.

184 lbs.

1. Angelo Ferrari, Iowa
2. Aeoden Sinclair, Missouri
3. Max McEnelly, Minnesota
4. Rocco Welsh, Penn State
5. Jaxon Smith, Maryland
6. Dylan Fishback, Ohio State
7. James Conway, Franklin & Marshall (+5)
8. Brock Mantanona, Michigan (-1)
9. Silas Allred, Nebraska (-1)
10. Zack Ryder, Oklahoma State (-1)

Conway won the CKLV to put on for the smaller schools as the Franklin & Marshall senior is in the top 10 for InterMat. Otherwise, little movement up top for 184 this weekend. This weight is loaded.

197 lbs.

1. Rocky Elam, Iowa State (+1)
2. Stephen Little, Arkansas-Little Rock (+1)
3. Massoma Endene, Iowa (+1)
4. Joey Novak, Wyoming (+2)
5. Justin Rademacher, Oregon State (+3)
6. Bennett Berge, South Dakota State (+1)
7. Cody Merrill, Oklahoma State (+2)
8. Connor Mirasola, Penn State (NR)
9. DJ Parker, Oklahoma (+2)
10. Dillon Bechtold, Bucknell (+2)

Out is Josh Barr due to injury, for now, so Elam is the new No. 1 at 197 for InterMat. He’s 8-0 on the season and looks like his old self prior to injuries. Mirasola is in for Barr and is 6-0 on the season, debuting at No. 8 in the rankings.

285 lbs.

1. Yonger Bastida, Iowa State
2. Isaac Trumble, NC State
3. Nick Felman, Ohio State
4. AJ Ferrari, Nebraska
5. Ben Kueter, Iowa (+1)
6. Nathan Taylor, Lehigh (+1)
7. Konner Doucet, Oklahoma State (+1)
8. Taye Ghadiali, Michigan (-3)
9. Braxton Amos, Wisconsin (+9)
10. Christian Carroll, Wyoming (+17)

CKLV shook up InterMat’s heavyweight rankings as there are eight similar names to last week, just slightly shifted. But Amos is 8-1 in his return from two years off and Carroll made a statement out west as well, vaulting up 17 spots!
