Cormani McClain injury update: Mississippi State at Florida Friday availability report revealed

Mississippi State will enter The Swamp on Saturday to square off against Florida. Both teams lost last week and will be looking to get back in the win column.
Mississippi State is yet to secure an SEC win this season, and it’s far from guaranteed to happen. The Bulldogs went 0-8 against conference opponents last season. With four of its final five games of this season against ranked foes, Mississippi State will aim to capitalize against the Gators.
Florida was underwhelming in its 34-17 loss to Texas A&M last week, but it’s proven it’s capable of more. In Week 6, the Gators downed Texas 29-21. With head coach Billy Napier on the hot seat, the Gators desperately need a standout showing Saturday.
Neither team is expected to be at full-strength for the game. Look below to see each team’s latest availability report.

Lagway did fumble a ball that Texas A&M recovered. Alas, it was a solid showing for him. The same can’t be said for Florida’s defense, which allowed 417 yards of offense and allowed Texas A&M to succeed on over 50% of its third-down conversion attempts.
If Florida gives Mississippi State the chance, the Bulldogs will rack up yards on Saturday. After all, Mississippi State has shown its offense is capable of impressive showing this season.
Although they lost, the Bulldogs tallied 378 yards and 34 points against Tennessee in Week 5. Running back Fluff Bothwell has played a large role in Mississippi State’s stellar offense this season.
Bothwell has logged six touchdowns and 465 rushing yards in the 2025 campaign, the seventh-most yards of any individual in the SEC. Bothwell suffered a lower-leg injury in the fourth quarter against Texas A&M and had to be carted off the field. He won’t be on the filed for the Bulldogs Saturday.
Fans won’t have to wait much longer to see how the SEC showdown unfolds. Florida and Mississippi State will face off at 4:15 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will air live on the SEC Network.
