Preseason awards and accolades continue coming in as college baseball teams across the country ramp up their preparation for the 2024 season. On Monday, D1Baseball released their 2024 Preseason All-American Teams, with three loaded groups of elite talent from across the nation.

Unsurprisingly, many of the odds-on favorites for the 2024 Golden Spikes Award also find themselves on the First Team.

Interestingly, 33 programs across college baseball are represented on D1Baseball’s All-American teams. Wake Forest, the preseason No. 1 team, is represented the most with five players across the three teams. Duke, Tennessee and TCU all have three selections, while South Carolina, LSU, Texas A&M, Florida, UC Santa Barbara, NC State, Texas Tech and Virginia have two players included.

On the mound, it’s another star-studded group. Brody Brecht, Hagen Smith, Josh Hartle and Trey Yesavage are among the notable starters. Florida two-way star Jac Caglianone also makes the list as a two-way utility player, unsurprisingly.
