The 2022 college baseball season has come to a close, and Ole Miss sits on top of the nation after an incredible run that ended with a College World Series championship. Following the conclusion of the College World Series, D1Baseball revealed its final Top 25 rankings for the year.

Ole Miss’ path to even making the NCAA Tournament was an incredible one, as the Rebels were one of the final teams to make the field of 64. The Rebels won the Coral Gables Regional, the Hattiesburg Super Regional, and obviously went on to become the last team standing in Omaha.

Behind Ole Miss, the other seven teams that made it to the College World Series are included in D1Baseball’s final Top 25. Oklahoma, this season’s runner-up, comes in at No. 2.

Throughout the postseason, unpredictable finishes led the way. Of the 16 regional sites, only 11 hosts advanced to Super Regionals. Then, of the eight Super Regional matchups, just two higher-ranked teams punched their tickets to the College World Series.

In the end, the final two teams standing were two clubs that were not regional hosts.

Here is a full look at D1Baseball’s final Top 25.
