Pahokee (Fla.) four-star edge <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/deejay-holmes-150711/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">DeeJay Holmes</a> announced his top five schools on Friday night. They are <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/louisville-cardinals/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Louisville</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/maryland-terrapins/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Maryland</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/ole-miss-rebels/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ole Miss</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/ucf-knights/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">UCF</a> and <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/western-kentucky-hilltoppers/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Western Kentucky</a>. 



Holmes is the No. 670 overall prospect and No. 60 EDGE in the 2023 cycle, according to the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/football/2023/">On3 Consensus</a>, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also a three-star recruit and the No. 110 player in Florida. 



On3 rates Holmes higher than other recruiting services, according to the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/deejay-holmes-150711/industry-comparison/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Industry Comparison</a>. Per the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/player/football/2023/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2023 On300</a>, Holmes is a four-star recruit, the No. 300 overall prospect, No. 36 EDGE and No. 58 player in Florida.

Only two of Holmes’ finalists have gotten a visit from the 6-foot-2, 235-pound prospect. He has made two visits to UCF, including an official on June 10, and one unofficial visit to Louisville on Oct. 29. 



According to the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/deejay-holmes-150711/recruiting/165077/rpm/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine</a>, the Knights are leading for his commitment at 48.5%. The Cardinals have the next-best chance of his top five schools at 9.8%. 



RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with <a href="https://spiny.ai/">Spiny.ai</a> to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. 



It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.



Holmes has an On3 NIL Valuation of <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/deejay-holmes-150711/nil/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">$5.9K</a>. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Convert speed to power with ease. Not scared to bull rush despite lack of ideal size and length. Solid against the run, better chaser than stuffer.
