Ahead of an exciting SEC clash in Week 12 between the LSU Tigers and Florida Gators in Gainesville, the injury report for both teams has been updated on Friday.

The status of quarterback DJ Lagway for the Gators has been up in the air, but Florida head coach Billy Napier confirmed his return for the Gators earlier this week. As for the rest of the team, as well as the Tigers ailments, you can check out their updated statuses below.

Continuing, Lagway was unavailable due to a hamstring injury that he suffered in the Gators’ loss to Georgia in Week 10. Before leaving the game, Lagway completed 2-of-his-6 pass attempts for 47 yards and a touchdown. He also recorded 18 rushing yards on four carries.

Backup QB Aidan Warner played in Lagway’s place on Saturday. In the loss to the Longhorns, Warner completed 12-of-his-25 pass attempts for 132 yards and threw two interceptions while failing to find a touchdown.

Amid all the changes in college football, LSU and Florida is a rivalry that dates back many, many seasons. The all-time series is as close as it can get in the sport, with the Tigers currently having the better of the Gators, with a 34-33-3 record in the clash of conference competitors.

LSU has been dominant over the better part of the last decade, including a current five-game win-streak. They defeated the Gators by a score of 52-35 last season, and Florida has only won twice against LSU since 2013.

Moreover, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida, better known as The Swamp, will be rocking when LSU comes to town. The Tigers have lost in Gainesville back in 2018, when the Gators were victorious by eight points. A win over Florida once again on the road would be a statement.
