The pregame decided to double dip for the first round of the CFP. With four games over the course of two games, it’s time to get wild.

GameDay will be on hand for Indiana traveling to South Bend for the 10 vs. 7 game with the Irish playing host. The winner of the game advances to the quarterfinals to take on Georgia.

Marcus Freeman and the Irish hosting in South Bend with the CFP logo on the field? Sounds like a movie.

“So, is the noise louder,” Freeman said last week. “If you let it be. If you let it be, right? We control the volume of the noise, in terms of what we read, who we listen to, who we talk to, we control that. We control what things go into our head, so it’s a choice we all have to make, to turn down the noise. The noise is loud, sure, I mean, shoot, I’m sure I can get on social media and it’ll be a lot louder. But we, I, control the volume of the noise that goes into my head.”

College GameDay will also travel to Columbus as Ohio State hosts Tennessee with the winner advancing to take on Oregon, the No. 1 seed. Things have been uneasy with the Buckeyes after losing to Michigan.

However, Ryan Day is ready to turn the page.

“It’s gonna be a great atmosphere, and our guys are fired up to go finish the season with a win in Ohio Stadium,” Day said. ““Getting this first win will be critical in building momentum as you head into the teeth of the playoffs.

“And when you look at tournament play, you look at playoffs, we all know that that first game is very, very important.”
