ESPN reveals kick times for major games over opening two weeks including Alabama vs. Florida State, Miami vs. Notre Dame

The college football calendar has been set for a while now, with conferences releasing 2025 schedules in the fall and winter months. Next up was having broadcast partners figure out the kickoff times and television information for them. Now, just over three months before the season begins, ESPN has begun to release details.

ESPN to show big-time matchups during Week 0 and Week 1
The past few seasons in college football have gotten started abroad. Dublin has played host and nothing changes heading into 2025. Except this time, the Big 12 takes center stage for a rivalry where both sets of fans are expected to travel well. Iowa State and Kansas State might get played in August but could be an important one come December.

Moving to Week 1, where ABC will host a triple header with massive nonconference showdowns. All of them are SEC schools against ACC programs, two of which will be on campus. Syracuse and Tennessee will battle at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Labor Day Weekend then allows college football to schedule games on Sunday and Monday. Notre Dame and Miami highlight the trio. However, Week 1 will be capped off with Bill Belichick‘s first game as North Carolina’s head coach.
