Texas A&M offered over 20 prospects over the last two weeks of the 2022 Jimbo Fisher Football Camps. With some new names on the Aggies’ board in the 2023, 2024 and 2025 classes, here are five offers that intrigued me.

2024 Conroe (Tex.) Oak Ridge four-star LB Justin Williams – The four-star has moved around a lot in his high school career to date. Emerging on the radar as a running back as a freshman, Williams then moved to safety last season out of necessity and has finally found a positional home, settling in at linebacker this offseason. He showed traits of a future linebacker playing from the safety position last season. Has the man-coverage skills necessary to keep up with slot receivers, tight ends and running backs, showed good discipline in run defense, with closing speed and hit power to match. Still, he’s very raw as a defender and still has a lot to learn about the ins-and-outs of the linebacker position. He fits the mold of what linebackers coach Tyler Santucci is looking for at the position and as he continues to learn the position, he could develop into a true game-changing linebacker prospect.

2024 Schertz (Tex.) Clemens four-star WR Freddie Dubose Jr. – One of the most physically impressive in-state wide receivers, Dubose possesses a well-built 6-foot-2 frame with a powerful base and muscled-up upper body. Has elite long stride speed, with verified speed and athleticism. Strength and size allows him to go up and make contested catches. Has some work to do as a route runner and needs to be a little more consistent as a pass-catcher, as he struggled a bit with drops while at Texas A&M but has all the tools to develop into a true WR1 that can take the top off of defenses and make contested catches.

2025 Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin WR Jamie Ffrench – The freshman has been on a tear at camps this month and made the trip to College Station this past Friday and put on a show. Already standing 6-foot-2, Ffrench acceleration, route-running ability and ball-tracking ability gave a lot of defensive backs trouble as he put together arguably the best performance of any 2025 wide reciever that camped at Texas A&M the last two weeks. He’s added offers from Ohio State, Alabama and Penn State in recent weeks and his stock will only continue to rise.

2024 Austin (Tex.) Vandegrift OT Blake Frazier – I stopped through Austin (Tex.) Vandegrift last month to see 2023 four-star offensive lineman Ian Reed, but found myself intrigued by his teammate, Frazier. After learning that the rising junior is a converted tight end and the son of a former Michigan offensive lineman, my intrigue only grew. Weighing in around 250-pounds, Frazier’s frame has plenty of room to get well over 300 pounds, while maintaining his athleticism. He moves incredibly well for his 6-foot-6 size and plays with an aggressive streak that the aforementioned Reed has as well. His best football is still ahead of him and I’ll be following his development closely as he continues to add ma

2024 Timpson (Tex.) four-star ATH Terry Bussey – I’ve likened Bussey to the 2024 version of 2023 Shiner (Tex.) High four-star athlete Dalton Brooks. Though they’re different types of players, both hail from 2A schools, are versatile athletes with impressive testing numbers. Brooks flashed his explosiveness this spring, recording a 22-4 long jump and 42-9 triple jump. Bussey flashed his speed with a 10.66 100m time this spring. Both have had highly productive high school careers to date. Brooks has recorded over 4,300 all purpose yards and 61 touchdowns in the last two seasons, adding well over 200 tackles on the defensive side of the ball. Last season, Bussey recorded over 1,700 passing yards, over 1,400 rushing yards offensively with 73 tackles and seven interceptions on the defensive side of the ball. Brooks has a larger frame and projects to running back or safety at the next level. Bussey is faster than Brooks, but smaller, listed right around 5-foot-10, 180 pounds and projects to wide receiver or nickel at the next level. Texas A&M is the favorite to land Brooks and very well could make their move with Bussey in the coming months as well.
