Former Oregon WR Ryan Pellum makes transfer decision

Former Oregon wide receiver Ryan Pellum is transferring to Delaware State, sources tell On3. The former four-star recruit will play for first-year head coach and former NFL wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
Pellum redshirted his freshman season at Oregon and has four years of eligibility remaining. The wide receiver entered the transfer portal in January and was arrested days later on charges of assault with use of a firearm after allegedly pistol-whipping a person in Long Beach, California, on Christmas Day.
He pleaded no contest on June 13 to one count of aggravated assault using a semi-automatic firearm, according to court records. With the plea, prosecutors agreed to dismiss two special allegations that would have added to his potential sentence.
As part of his probation, he must forfeit any firearms registered to him, complete a 52-week anger management course and log 100 hours of community service. He is the nephew of former Oregon linebacker and defensive coordinator Don Pellum, and chose to sign with the Ducks under that last name in 2023 instead of his given name of Taylor.
