4-star defensive lineman Avion Carter names top 4 schools
Amarillo (Texas) Tascosa defensive lineman Avion Carter is down to four schools, he announced Monday morning on Twitter.
Carter is the No. 120 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 16 defensive lineman and the No. 22 junior player in the state of Texas.

As a junior, Avion Carter totaled 55 tackles with 15 tackles for loss and 8 sacks. He was named District 2-5A-I Defensive Player of the Year in 2021.
