Mgbako on his commitment to Vanderbilt

Ethan Mgbako went in-depth on his decision to choose Vandy with Rivals.

“I chose Vanderbilt because it offers an amazing balance of top-tier academics and a high level of basketball. It’s a place where I can grow as a player and prepare for my future off the court too it also just felt like a new home once I stepped foot in Tennessee.”

What led to his trust in the coaching staff?

“From the start, the coaching staff showed they believed in my potential and had a clear plan for how I could develop at Vanderbilt. Their honesty and dedication really stood out.”

In his own words, what type of player is Vanderbilt getting in him?

“I’d describe my game as versatile and aggressive. I like to attack the basket and impose my will on the smaller guards. I can stretch the floor with my shooting ability, create opportunities for my teammates, and bring energy on both ends of the floor.”

He has a message for Vandy fans.

“Vandy fans, get ready for an exciting season! I’m bringing home a Natty. Anchor Down!”
