FOX Sports announces TV rights for Ohio State vs. Michigan in 2025

The Game has been a matchup aired exclusively on FOX for almost a decade now. That will continue this next fall with the release by the network this evening.
FOX has announced that Ohio State vs. Michigan from The Big House will again be aired on their channel come the final weekend of the regular season, likely at noon eastern as always, on November 29th, 2025. This year’s matchup will again be much-anticipated with the past two national champions now kicking off against one another in Ann Arbor.
“We don’t just have NFL news, right,” Erin Andrews said this evening. “FOX’s college football schedule will be highlighted by Texas-Ohio State in Week 1 and Ohio State-Michigan on Thanksgiving weekend.”
This comes as one of several announcements this afternoon from FOX Sports as part of the announcement of their new streaming service today called FOX One. Of the ones involving football, FOX will air these games during the first official and last weekends of the regular season in college as well as several games in the National Football League, including a Saturday doubleheader for Week 16 in the NFC with Eagles vs. Commanders and Packers vs. Bears.

Ohio State-Michigan is already considered to be the top rivalry in college football by many. The past few seasons have only further emphasized that with the Wolverines having won the national title in 2023, the final year of the four-team field of the College Football Playoff, and the Buckeyes currently being the defending national champions, having won the first dozen-team field in the CFP.
There’s also some extra emphasis and bad blood in the rivalry coming off of last year’s outcome. Michigan went to Columbus and won 13-10 for their fourth-straight victory in the series over Ohio State. That’s after the Buckeyes had won 17 of 19 from 2001 to 2019 as they haven’t won this decade since it was cancelled back in 2020. That latest win for the maize & blue then led to a postgame flag-planting in The Shoe with the Buckeyes taking exception to that as an on-field incident occurred between the two teams.
The Game makes for a massive regular-season finale in the Big Ten for FOX. This season should be no different with the series going back up north as Ohio State tries to avoid what would be their longest losing streak ever to their rival while Michigan, in turn, looks to extend their win streak over them to their longest ever.
