A pair of programs will be receiving official visits from Mesquite (Texas) Horn four-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers.

Rogers announced on social media that he will take visits to Missouri (May 31-June 2) and Texas A&M (June 13-15). He is also expected to take an unofficial visit to LSU on March 8.

The 6-foot-7, 305-pound Rogers is the nation’s No. 48 overall prospect and No. 9 offensive tackle in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 11 prospect in the state of Texas.

Missouri to host multiple top prospects

Coming off the best season in recent memory, Missouri is hoping to turn that into recruiting success with the 2025 recruiting class. A number of blue-chip recruits are expected to take summer official visits to Columbia in addition to Rogers.

Overland Park (Kan.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star defensive lineman Juju Marks — a former Missouri commit — still includes the Tigers at the top of his list and will take an OV to Columbia the same weekend as Rogers.

Hermann (Mo.) four-star EDGE Daeden Hopkins will visit Missouri from June 21-23 — as will top in-state prospect Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North four-star wide receiver Isaiah Mozee.

Aggies building powerful in-state recruiting class

There’s never a shortage of top talent in Texas, and Elko is following suit by pushing hard for top in-state talent, as all four of A&M’s 2025 commits hail from Texas.

The Aggies picked up commitments on back-to-back days to round out January. First, Forney four-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins pledged, choosing A&M over Georgia and Tennessee. Katy Paetow four-star cornerback Deyjhon Pettaway committed 24 hours later and now headlines the quartet of pledges as the No. 158 recruit and No. 21 CB in the cycle.

“Coach Elko said I am by far and away the best DB they have watched in a while,” Pettaway told On3 after a visit to College Station. “He also told me that I can make an immediate impact in their program and I can lead A&M to something big in the future.”

DeSoto four-star running back Deondrae “Tiger” Riden became the latest to commit to A&M, adding another top-250 prospect to the fold. He checks in as the No. 15 burner in 2025. Spring Legacy three-star interior offensive lineman Joshua Moses rounds out A&M’s class.
