Lane Kiffin posts photo showing dog Juice is with him amid fan speculation
There’s been plenty of speculation and discussion about Lane Kiffin‘s dog, Juice, after Kiffin left Ole Miss for LSU. Some fans claimed that Juice would not go with Kiffin to Baton Rouge because of rumors that he did not fully belong to Kiffin.
However, the coach later debunked those rumors, which started because Juice also spent a lot of time in the care of Wildrose Kennels because of Kiffin’s busy schedule. Kiffin confirmed that Juice would follow him to LSU, and it looks like he’s finally arrived.
On Sunday, the coach posted a photo of his son, Knox alongside Juice on what looked to be a duck hunting trip. You can check it out below.
Juice Kiffin was originally purchased through Wildrose Kennels for Kiffin’s daughter, Landry. However, he quickly became somewhat of an unofficial mascot for the Rebels football team due to Lane Kiffin’s social media posts about him, and the dog later got his own accounts.
After Kiffin left for LSU, many claimed that Wildrose Kennels was actually the owner of the dog, which would be staying in Oxford. But one tweet claimed that Juice spent some nights with Kiffin and others at Wildrose, which served as a babysitter for him when the coach needed it.
Juice’s X account later posted a photo of a Tiger on Dec. 3, indicating that he would soon be joining Kiffin in Baton Rouge. “Can’t wait to get down to Baton Rouge with my dad, brother, and sister,” the caption read.

Now it looks like Juice has finally reunited with the Kiffin family. He’ll be there with them on this new journey in Baton Rouge as man’s best friend.
Ole Miss AD Keith Carter laments ‘really tough’ ending to Lane Kiffin era in Oxford
Kiffin’s chaotic exit after six seasons at Ole Miss has been the talk of the sports world, with many college football pundits attacking the new LSU coach for how he handled the entire divorce. ESPN’s Paul Finebaum has even taken to calling Kiffin “college football’s version of Kim Kardashian.”
All the while, Kiffin’s former boss, Rebels athletic director Keith Carter, has stayed relatively quite on the controversial ending, only recently calling out several inaccuracies in Kiffin’s personal account of how everything went down behind the scenes in Oxford ahead of Sunday’s departure. Carter continued to correct the narrative and expressed regret for how Kiffin’s exit ultimately played out during a recent sit-down interview with ESPN’s Marty Smith, which Smith shared Thursday on social media.
“You can’t deny the success. You can’t deny the wins. You can’t deny the program is in a much better place than it was when Lane got here,” Carter said, according to Smith. “I just wish the end would have been handled better, some of the last minute stuff that happened, and is still ongoing a bit — I wish was different. … We can look at the success as tangible and real … Just, man … the exit was really tough.”
