Lane Kiffin's son, Knox, mocks him at Alabama media podium

Knox Kiffin, the son of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, is in the early stages of his recruitment. The class of 2028 prospect has gone on a few visits of late and even participated in camps. Tuscaloosa was the stop on Saturday, working out for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Once getting off the field, there was some time for fun. Knox took a podium inside Bryant-Denny Stadium, a place his father would stand from time to time. He decided to act like Lane coming off a loss — presumably one where officiating played a role — leading to a hilarious moment posted on social media.
“Can’t do anything about it,” Knox Kiffin jokingly said. “You know, a few bad calls but I mean, can’t do anything about it.”
Kiffin spent three seasons as the Alabama offensive coordinator. And despite being at another SEC school, his relationship with the program has remained playful — at least on social media. The relationship Kiffin has with Nick Saban is well documented and certainly a positive one.
These types of jokes are a big reason why. Saban might not be in the middle of it this time but Knox certainly got the humor gene from his Dad. The impersonation is almost spot on.

Back to the football, Knox Kiffin did not leave Tuscaloosa with an offer in hand. Not many are recruiting quarterbacks at the level of Kalen DeBoer right now, though. If Kiffin’s progress continues to be solid, you have to imagine DeBoer would love to get in the mix. At the same time, there might be one program that sticks out more — the one led by his father.
More on Knox Kiffin
Kiffin is entering his sophomore season of high school, living in Oxford with his Dad. Friday night lights are going to become just as important in the Kiffin household as Saturdays in the near future. Especially if the offers are going to begin to roll in.
As of now, SMU is the only power conference program to extend an offer. Western Kentucky at the FBS level is also joined by FCS Arkansas State. Even early on, the opportunities are going to be there for Kiffin at the college level.
There is no ranking for Kiffin per the On3 Industry Ranking quite yet. He weighs in at 170 pounds and stands six feet tall. Three more years of high school football remain, potentially getting onto the varsity field in the near future.
