Le'Veon Moss takes shot at Notre Dame Stadium environment: 'It ain't nothing like Kyle Field'

Le’Veon Moss was not impressed by the Notre Dame crowd in Week 3. The Texas A&M running back appeared on The Paul Finebaum Show on Wednesday, where he had a lukewarm reaction when asked about playing in front of the Fighting Irish crowd.
“It was pretty cool,” Moss said. “It ain’t nothing like Kyle Field though. It got pretty loud, but it ain’t like Kyle Field. Their fans ain’t like ours.”
The Aggies went on to defeat Notre Dame by a score of 41-40, notching a huge win for their resume. Moss certainly didn’t look fazed by the crowd noise, rushing for 81 yards and three touchdowns.
Finebaum was a bit surprised by Moss’ response to his question, especially considering the history and tradition of Notre Dame as one of the premier venues in college football. But the A&M running back didn’t budge on his opinion in a follow up question.
“I see it as just another place to play,” he said. “You put a ball down in the middle of the street on concrete and I’m ready. It don’t matter where.”

It’s that type of mentality that allowed Moss and the Aggies to walk into South Bend and come away with a win. It’s set them up as a top 10 team in the country with hopes of making some noise in the SEC.
Texas A&M is set to kick off conference play this weekend at home against Auburn in front of the 12th Man, one of the the equally revered venues in college sports. Moss had much more praise for the fans in College Station than he did for Notre Dame.
“It’s a great feeling,” he said of playing at Kyle Field. “They’re here win or lose. They’re gonna show up and support their team at all times and I love the way it’s just an experience every time we run out there.”
Aggies fans certainly aren’t afraid to show their passion for their school and will be out in full force every fall. Saturday against the Tigers should be no different and Texas A&M will certainly need every bit of it to take down an Auburn team that will be looking to bounce back after losing against Oklahoma last week. Kickoff between the Aggies and Tigers is set for 2:30 p.m. CT in College Station.
