Logan Reichert injury update: Missouri OL's status revealed vs. Auburn on Wednesday availability report

The initial injury report for a Week 8 battle between Missouri and Auburn has been released on Wednesday. Both teams are looking to rebound coming off of losses in the week prior, and this provides the first glimpse at the status of some key players.
Mizzou offensive lineman Logan Reichert has not played yet this season after suffering a lower body injury in fall camp. Coach Eli Drinkwitz said on Aug. 24 that Reichert would be out six to eight weeks, which would mean he would be close to returning if he kept that timetable. He is ruled questionable on the injury report, which you can view below.
Auburn
- WR Horatio Fields – Out
- RB Durell Robinson – Out
- LB Bryce Deas – Doubtful
- CB Champ Anthony – Questionable
- TE Brandon Frazier – Questionable
Missouri
- K Blake Craig – Out
- QB Sam Horn – Out
- OL Logan Reichert – Questionable
Reichert played 11 games as a redshirt freshman last season and was expected to serve in a reserve role this year. The sooner he can get back on the field the better for Missouri’s offensive line depth.
Since this is an SEC matchup, Auburn and Missouri will both release availability reports throughout the week. In addition to Wednesday’s injury report, there will also be reports released on Thursday and Friday, then one final report that comes out 90 minutes before kickoff.

Historically, this will be only the sixth meeting between Missouri and Auburn all-time. The first came in the year 1973 while the rest have all come since Mizzou joined the SEC in 2012. Auburn holds a narrow 3-2 advantage but won the most recent contest by a score of 21-17 last season.
Vegas expects this to be another close game as Missouri is just a 1.5-point favorite according to BetMGM. Kickoff for the contest is set for 7:45 p.m. ET Saturday at Jordan Hare Stadium.
