One day before the Lone Star Showdown, both Texas A&M and Texas have released their latest injury updates. The Thursday availability report dropped ahead of the Black Friday matchup.

For Texas, Anthony Hill was listed as questionable to start the week – one of two Longhorns players listed on the SEC availability report. As for Texas A&M, running back Le’Veon Moss and linebacker Scooby Williams were both listed as doubtful heading into Thursday.

Texas A&M will take on Texas Friday night to cap off ABC’s Black Friday tripleheader. Here are the Thursday availability reports for both teams.

Texas Longhorns

Texas A&M Aggies

This year’s game marks the second for the Lone Star Showdown after Texas joined the SEC. The Longhorns got the victory in last year’s game at Kyle Field, extending their win streak to three straight dating back to the 2011 matchup.

In addition, Friday will mark Arch Manning’s first start against Texas A&M. He sat behind Quinn Ewers last year as Texas got the victory, but will be under center for the Friday night primetime matchup with plenty at stake. The Longhorns are trying to get back in the College Football Playoff picture while the Aggies can clinch a spot in the SEC Championship.

It also is the third game of the day on ABC, which has three Black Friday games on the schedule. To Texas coach Steve Sarkisian, the spotlight is important considering there’s only one other game kicking off at 7:30 p.m. ET. That, he said, makes it even more special as the rivalry heats back up.

“I like that (for) this game that we get an opportunity to stand alone,” Sarkisian said. “Okay, so whether it’s Thanksgiving or Friday after Thanksgiving, I just think this game deserves the spotlight to stand alone, and the fact that we’re playing on Friday night with all the eyes of college football on it, really the football world on this game. I think this game deserves that. So whatever that looks like. Again, I’m not the decision maker on that. But I do think this is a great opportunity for us.

“You know, last year we were a Saturday night game, and we were up against some other games. So this year, being Friday night, I think it is good for the game.”
