LSU making two coaching moves, including hiring Bob Diaco as analyst

LSU is set to make two coaching moves.
The Tigers are expected to promote analyst John Jancek to an on-field coaching role working with the team’s outside linebacker group, sources tell On3. They’re also expected to hire Bob Diaco as an analyst, sources tell On3.
Jancek, who will be moving into the opening created when Brian Polian shifted into a general manager type role, has been a defensive coordinator at places like Tennessee, Cincinnati and Colorado State. Jancek has also worked at other places such as Georgia.

Diaco was UConn’s head coach from 2014-16. He’s also been a defensive coordinator at places such as Notre Dame, Nebraska, Purdue and Cincinnati.
LSU is entering its second season with Brian Kelly as its head coach. The Tigers finished last season 10-4.
