LSU fans play 'Neck' via trumpets, take over Las Vegas casino

LSU is one of two teams taking over Sin City for the night ahead of their matchup inside Allegiant Stadium.
With that, two Tigers got the party going inside Mandalay Bay Sportsbook by bringing in a pair of trumpets amongst the crowd. That led to their rendition of the team’s anthem of ‘NECK’ in Las Vegas.
This comes just a few hours prior to kickoff for LSU against the USC Trojans. The Tigers are a favorite out on the west coast tonight with the game starting at 7:30 p.m. on ABC. It’ll be the final game of the opening weekend in college football although there’ll be a Labor Day matchup tomorrow in the ACC.

The Bayou Bengals surely know how to have a good time, especially in a locale like Vegas. The only hope now is they travel back home tonight or tomorrow with an opening victory for the Tigers.
Update emerges on Chris Hilton’s final injury status vs. USC
LSU fans were curious about the status of WR Chris Hilton ahead of their matchup with the USC Trojans on Sunday. A little over an hour before kickoff, though, they got their answer and it wasn’t a good one.

Hilton was not dressed out in pregame warmups and won’t be available tonight for the Tigers. Expect WR Kyle Parker to start for the Tigers in his place, according to Wilson Alexander of The Advocate.
Over the past two years for the Tigers, Hilton has hauled in 22 catches for 415 yards and three touchdowns. He has battled injuries for the past few seasons, though, although flashing explosiveness when healthy.
Hilton came into the game tonight questionable so it’s not much of a surprise that he can’t suit up Sunday night. However, LSU has listed Hilton as a starter for Sunday’s game on the depth chart that they dropped a few hours before the matchup so he must have been a late scratch of sorts.
