Nebraska QB Dylan Raiola expected to enter NCAA transfer portal
Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He spent the last two seasons in Lincoln and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Raiola was limited to just nine games due to injury as a sophomore. He finished 2025 with 2,000 yards, 18 touchdowns, six interceptions and a 72.4% completion percentage. In his career, Raiola has 4,819 yards, 31 touchdowns, 17 interceptions and a 69.1% completion percentage.
As a member of the Class of 2024, Raiola was a five-star recruit out of Buford (Ga.) High, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. He was the No. 2 overall prospect in the state, the No. 3 quarterback in the class and the No. 21 overall prospect in the class. He chose Nebraska over Georgia after flipping his commitment.

“I haven’t seen that report,” Rhule said. “I haven’t seen that, so I don’t know anything about that. I would never get up here and talk about a player. I love Dylan like I love all my guys. He’s in there doing treatment right now. So I don’t know about that.”
The report from CBS Sports also noted that Dayton Raiola, who is Dylan’s younger brother, recently decommitted from Nebraska. He also plays quarterback and is a three-star prospect for the 2026 cycle.
This news also came on the heels of Nebraska offensive line coach Donovan Raiola being fired from Rhule’s staff. Donovan is the uncle of Dylan.
Nebraska finished the 2025 regular season 7-5. They were bowl eligible for the second straight year under Rhule.
