Northwestern trolls, Rick Rolls Michigan at Wrigley Field during 'Mr. Brightside'

The Week 12 matchup between Northwestern and Michigan being played inside Wrigley Field is a home game for the Wildcats, but you wouldn’t know that by the amount of Michigan fans in the stadium. So when Michigan fan’s favorite tune, ‘Mr. Brightside’ came over the loudspeakers.
This ended up being a ploy to troll the traveling Wolverines faithful. While the crowd were busy singing along to The Killers’ 2004 hit, Northwestern reminded everyone that they’re the ones in charge of the music today. They played Rick Astley’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up,’ which has been used to troll people on the internet for as long as anybody can remember. Watch Michigan fans get Rick Roll’d below:
The Wolverines would go on to defeat the Wildcats 24-22 on a last-second field goal. The win improved Michigan to 8-2 on the season, keeping their College Football Playoff hopes alive.
QB Bryce Underwood finished the game completing 21 of 32 of his passing attempts for 280 yards and two interceptions. RB Jordan Marshall led the way with 142 rushing yards on the day, scoring two of the team’s three touchdowns. However, the RB was injured during the fourth quarter. His status moving forward remains to be seen.
Michigan’s offense finished the game with 496 total yards compared to 296 for Northwestern. The difference — five turnovers for the Wolverines offense. Despite this, Michigan was able to pull off the win from the foot of kicker Dominic Zvada. His Michigan teammates carries him off the field on their shoulders.

Jordan Marshall injured in second half
Michigan running back Jordan Marshall appeared to have injured his right arm or shoulder during the fourth quarter against Northwestern at Saturday. He was tackled by Wildcats linebacker Mac Uihlein and remained on the ground after the play.
Bryson Kuzdzal replaced Marshall after his injury, and the drive ended with QB Bryce Underwood throwing his second interception of the game. The injury comes at an awful time for the Wolverines, trailing the Wildcats 22-21 during the final period.
Marshall was shown on the FOX broadcast heavily favoring his shoulder. He also didn’t have his helmet with him as he looked on while on the sideline. Notably, trainers did not take him to the locker room immediately. At the time he left the game, he had 19 carries for 142 yards and two touchdowns.
