Parker Livingstone injury update: Latest on Texas WR ahead of Oklahoma

Texas wide receiver Parker Livingstone is expected to be available Saturday against Oklahoma, barring a setback, sources tell On3. The second-year wide receiver limped off the field in the first half against Florida after taking a hit to his right leg while connecting with Arch Manning on a big pickup.
Steve Sarkisian previously said that X-rays were negative on Livingstone’s lower-leg injury. The wide receiver has emerged as one of Manning’s top targets in the early half of the 2025 season. He has 13 catches for 279 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 21.5 yards per catch.
“Just couldn’t quite return,” Sarkisian said of Livingstone following the Florida game. “I don’t think he has anything serious.”
Livingstone’s injury occurred in the second quarter, when he pulled in a 33-yard catch from Manning and took a hit to his right leg from Florida defensive back Devin Moore. The wideout was helped off the field before returning late in the first half and then missing the remainder of the game.

Manning and Livingstone are roomates. The former four-star recruit enters Red River Rivalry week as Texas’ leading wide receiver. He’s stepped up as Ryan Wingo has worked to get going in his second season, posting 17 catches for 263 yards.
“I’ve been saying it all along. I just don’t know if you guys believe me,” Sarkisian said earlier this season when asked about Livingstone. “I’ve been saying it since spring ball – Parker Livingstone is a really good player. He played good all spring. He played good all training camp. He’s played good for two weeks. Like the guy is a good football player.”
Texas and Oklahoma kick off on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET at the Cotton Bowl on ABC.
