Cameron Dicker

Early in the career of Cameron Dicker, he has already been a part of two NFL franchises. Both the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Rams have had the Texas Longhorns special teams great on their practice squad. Neither has worked out but now, there is a third team looking to do the same per a report.

According to Tom Peliserro of the NFL Network, the Philadelphia Eagles are signing Dicker. He will first be on the practice squad and be ready to go in case Jake Elliot cannot play on Sunday. If Elliot is inactive, Dicker will get the kicking duties against Arizona.

“The #Eagles are signing kicker Cameron Dicker to the practice squad, per source,” Peliserro said. “Jake Elliott got banged up late in Sunday’s game. If he can’t go this week, it’d be Dicker the Kicker.”

Dicker entered the 2022 NFL Draft but was not selected. In fact, only one team spent draft capital on a kicker with Cade York being picked by the Cleveland Browns. Stints with teams have been short for Dicker thus far.

Now, he seemingly has a chance to break through in the NFL with Philadelphia.
