2027 QB RJ Day, son of Ryan Day, seeing his recruitment take off
Ohio State legend and new Bowling Green head coach Eddie George has his eye on an in-state 2027 quarterback prospect.

On Saturday the 6-foot-1, 203-pound Day reported that George and the Falcons were the latest to extend a scholarship.
“Coach George is first class,” said Day who is the son of Ohio State head coach Ryan Day.
Bowling Green joins an offer list that includes Boston College, Akron, Miami (Ohio), Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Marshall and Toledo.
Several other programs are showing interest and Day just took a spring break swing to Cincinnati, Northwestern, Iowa State, Purdue and UCLA.

“They were all great places,” Day said. “I made a great connection with Coach Campbell and Coach Waters from (Iowa State). Me and my parents really like that staff and place a lot.”
Day is already St. Francis De Sales High School’s all-time leading passer after collecting 1,425 yards and 14 touchdowns this past season, giving him 2,993 for through his first two varsity campaigns. As a sophomore he earned him Second-Team All-District honors, while his yards total is the fifth-best single-season output in school history.
Day plans on camping at several schools this summer.
