Elite OT Samuel Roseborough names top 10 schools

Clearwater (Fla.) four-star offensive tackle Samuel Roseborough, one of the top trench monsters in the 2026 cycle, is down to 10 schools.
Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Texas and Texas A&M remain in the running for the 6-foot-5, 260-pounder, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Tuesday.
Roseborough is the No. 106 overall prospect and No. 9 OT in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 16 player in Florida.
On3 ranks him higher than other recruiting services. He checks in as the No. 43 recruit, No. 9 OT and No. 7 player in the Sunshine State, per the 2026 On300.
“I’d like to go through this process and still find new things that are important to me,” Roseborough told On3’s Chad Simmons back in August. “As of right now, education is big for me and I want to feel like I have a family wherever I go. I want to have people that are going to support me and also push me.”
Two in-state schools among those pushing for Roseborough
Roseborough is familiar with the top programs in Florida and also previously considered the likes of USF and UCF. It’s Florida and FSU that cracked his top 10 on Tuesday, though.
Both staffs in Gainesville and Tallahassee have impressed him throughout his process and he’s also been to both campuses. Former FSU offensive line coach Alex Atkins was originally recruiting Roseborough for the Noles, but he still has the ACC school on his list. Head coach Mike Norvell tabbed UCF OL coach Herb Hand as Atkins’ replacement.

“I have a great relationship with coach Herb Hand. He was there from the beginning of my recruitment, which plays a big role in my interest in UCF,” Roseborough previously said.
Texas is another program that made a big move upon getting Roseborough on campus. His time in Austin back in December exceeded his expectations and moved the Longhorns toward the top. Touted OL coach Kyle Flood is building a relationship with the blue-chipper.
“Texas is definitely a school that’s at the top of the list,” Roseborough told On3. “For me, the place is just different.”
“Me and Coach Flood talked for a while after practice,” he added. “It was him getting to know me and me getting to know him, his background, how he got to Texas and all the things that excite him about Austin. Coach Flood is very humble and family-oriented and he cares about the development of his guys.”
