Earlier this afternoon, Sherrone Moore was arraigned at the Washtenaw County Court. Now, with the charges revealed, as well as further early details shared in this legal matter, we also know when he will make his next in-person appearance in court.

Moore will next be in court on January 22, 2026, set to meet at 9 a.m. local time. It will serve as a probable cause hearing as the next piece of this case for the now-former head coach of the Wolverines.

After he was fired by Michigan for cause due to an inappropriate relationship with a staff member, Moore was detained later on, originally with the police investigating for a possible assault, on Wednesday. He’s now facing charges of home invasion in the third degree, breaking and entering or entering without breaking, and stalking, which involved the victim with whom he apparently had a long-time relationship.

In that incident, Moore also supposedly threatened self-harm, and only left once law enforcement was called. Further details were also included in the criminal complaint. His bond, on top of several details related to it, was set this afternoon at $25,000.

A lot has happened just in the last 48 hours in relation to Moore. It will now be over a month before his next scheduled legal proceeding, though.
