Syracuse at Clemson weather delay: When Week 4 game will resume

Syracuse and Clemson have been embroiled in a heated ACC battle in Week 4. However, it came to a screeching halt, as lighting in the area forced a delay as halftime was coming to a close.
UPDATE: The lighting warning has been lifted and fans can re-enter the stadium, the school announced. The game will resume at 3:45 p.m. ET.
“A lightning warning has been issued for the area within eight miles around Memorial Stadium,” Clemson Athletics posted on X. “For your safety, we ask that you please move to a safer location underneath the stadium. LJC, Fike, Brackett, and Sirrine Hall are available for those outside the stadium.”
At the moment of stoppage, Syracuse has a ten point lead over Clemson, with the score 24-14. Quarterback Steve Angeli has led the way, completing 16 of 25 pass attempts for 180 yards and two touchdowns.
On the other hand, Cade Klubnik has been solid on offense for the Tigers. He’s completed 15 of 21 passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns. Adam Randall has also been awesome at running back, carrying the ball eight times for 85 yards.
One thing is for sure, Clemson will need more out of their defense in the second half. Syracuse has 303 total yards at the moment, and the Orange are hungry for more over the next 30 minutes.

Moreover, Clemson was supposed to return home and get right after struggling against Georgia Tech in Week 3. It was an ugly performance for the Tigers, but they rallied to take a lead at one point against the Yellow Jackets.

Then, the game continued to go back and forth before the Yellow Jackets walked it off with a 55-yard field goal in the fourth quarter. That sealed the upset victory at home and sent the Tigers to 1-2.
In the Week 3 loss, Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik completed 15 of 26 passes for 207 yards and a touchdown, while also adding 62 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground. However, he also threw an interception and lost a fumble.
Meanwhile, the Clemson defense had a rough go, though, particularly stopping quarterback Haynes King. He led the charge with both his arm and his legs to help Georgia Tech pull off the upset.
He completed 20 of 28 passes for 211 yards in the air while leading the Yellow Jackets with 25 carries, 101 yards and a touchdown on the ground. As a group, Georgia Tech ran for 147 yards.
Saturday hasn’t been much better against Syracuse. The one caveat is there’s a whole second half of football left. Perhaps the Tigers can figure it out.
