Texas fans direct NSFW chant at Nick Saban ahead of showdown with Alabama

Texas fans are making Nick Saban feel as welcome as he can as he arrives for Saturday’s showdown with the Longhorns.

Evidently, Longhorns faithful has no love for the Alabama legend. Captured by Wesley Sinor of AL.com, Saban had some obcenities directed his way as he crossed the field on his way to the locker room.

“Texas students chanting ‘F*%# Nick Saban’ as the Crimson Tide coach makes his way across the field at Texas Memorial Stadium,” tweeted Sinor. “Should be a fun one today.”

As you can see, Texas fans are fired up for Saturday’s showdown with Alabama, but one has to wonder if getting Saban riled up is the best plan of action. Nevertheless, the atmosphere in Austin is a raucous one, and it could be a memorable day as the Crimson Tide and the Longhorns do battle.

Lee Corso is fired up for a huge edition of College GameDay on Saturday, as Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and the rest of the crew are in Austin ahead of Texaswelcoming Alabama to town.

With such a huge game on the docket, Longhorns faithful are notably exuberant. So, Corso gave the raucous crowd something to cheer about, spiking a Crimson Tide helmet while laying a smooch on a Texas one.
