Texas State offensive tackle Isaiah Walker Jr enters transfer portal

Former Texas State offensive tackle Isaiah Walker Jr. is on the move again. According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Walker has entered the NCAA transfer portal and is searching for another college football home.
The offensive lineman has moved around quite a bit during his collegiate career. He started as a four-star recruit for the Florida Gators before transferring in-state to the Miami Hurricanes. From there, he would end up at Butler Community College in 2023.
Similar to off seasons of the past, this year’s has been a wild ride for Walker. Toward the end of the 2023 season, the 6-foot-5 offensive lineman decided to commit to the Colorado Buffaloes and their head coach, Deion Sanders. Walker cited his relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him as key reasons for his decision to head to Colorado, which is on its way to the Big 12 in 2024. Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for him to change his mind about playing for Coach Prime as just a few days later, he de-committed from the Buffaloes, opting to head to the San Marcos, TX, based Texas State program.
Colorado transfer DB Cormani McClain commits to Florida

In McClain’s lone season with the Buffaloes, he tallied 13 tackles and two passes defended. His playing time gradually increased throughout the season. McClain started in Colorado’s final three games of the 2023 campaign.

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders attributed McClain’s increased time on the field to the freshman’s improved mindset.
“He’s been a lot more focused,” Sanders said. “A lot more understanding of the expectation and what we want from him — that we’ve challenged him tremendously all year long. He stood up to the task over the last, probably, week and a half.
“I’m really, really proud of Cormani. I really am.”
A product of Lakeland High School (Fla.), Cormani McClain was a five-star prospect and the No. 13 overall player from the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
