3-star DL TJ Lindsey sets visits to Notre Dame, Oregon

Bryant (Ark.) four-star defensive lineman TJ Lindsey will take his final two unofficial visits of the spring to Notre Dame and Oregon over the next two weekends he told On3’s Chad Simmons.

This weekend Lindsey will attend Notre Dame’s spring game on April 22 and he’ll attend Oregon’s on April 29.

Lindsey is the No. 418 overall prospect and No. 37 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 6 player in Arkansas.

Lindsey’s not ranked in the 2024 On300 but On3 does rank him as the No. 31 defensive lineman and No. 6 player in Arkansas.

The 6-foot-3, 270-pounder holds several Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Notre Dame as the favorite to land a commitment from Lindsey at 50.2%.

Lindsey’s trip to South Bend will be his first back to campus since last July and he’ll be visiting Oregon for the first time.

Once he gets the next two trips out of the way, Lindsey told Simmons that he’ll working on narrowing down what schools he’ll take official visit to.

Two schools he knows he’ll take visits to include Texas and Texas A&M. Lindsey told On3’s Sam Spiegelman that he’ll visit Texas A&M on June 16 and Texas on June 23.

“Just the staff in general, I’m gonna be around the people more than I’m gonna be around football,” Lindsey told On3. “And then opportunities that they can provide on the field, off the field, even after football. Those are the things I’m really looking at now, especially in person.”

Lindsey currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $24K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
