The college football transfer portal reached new highs this offseason, setting a record number amount of entries. It was not just the large quantity, either, but the stockpile of talent.

With the new age of NIL and an unprecedented coaching carousel, the portal was awash with high-end talent. That doesn’t even include the countless number of former highly-ranked quarterbacks who moved schools, too.

Of the thousands of college football players that entered the transfer portal, many have found their new collegiate homes, while many remain in the portal heading into the summer. Here are the top 10 that are remaining, according to the On3 Consensus.

1. Jordan Addison | Wide Receiver | Pitt

The late transfer portal addition of Jordan Addison came as a surprise to many, and the top schools in the nation quickly flocked to the former Pitt star wide receiver. Addison currently leans 100 percent toward USC on the On3 Recruiting Prediciton Machine, but has ties with Alabama and Texas as well.

2. Jaylon Robinson | Wide Receiver | UCF

The 5-foot-9, 180-pound junior had the best season of his career in 2020 after sitting out in 2019. He posted 979 yards on 55 catches with four touchdowns. In 2021, he had 18 catches in six games played for 322 yards and two touchdowns. He suffered a knee injury on Sept. 17 against Louisville that kept him on the sideline for five games.

3. Jermayne Lole | Defensive Line | Arizona State

Lole started last season as a preseason first-team All-Pac 12 selection for Arizona State and was on the Outland Trophy watch list. Unfortunately, he missed all of last season after suffering a tricep injury before the season started. In an odd turn of events, Lole entered the transfer portal with the ultimate hope of remaining with the Sun Devils.

4. Enock Makonzo | Safety | Coastal Carolina

A Pro Football Focus All-Sun Belt first team member in 2021, Makonzo spent three seasons with Coastal Carolina, where he emerged as one of the best mid-major safeties in the country. Over the past two season, he’s compiled 143 total tackles, three forced fumbles and one pass deflection. The incoming senior has never recorded a collegiate interception.

5. Ricky Pearsall | Wide Receiver | Arizona State

Pearsall lead Arizona State in receiving last year with 48 catches for 580 yards and four touchdowns. The Auburn TigersFlorida Gators and Oregon Ducks are still in the running for Pearsall with a decision looming in the near future.

6. Deion Smith | Wide Receiver | LSU

Smith was a four-star recruit coming out of Jackson (Mississippi) Academy when he signed with LSU. After tallying 11 catches for 186 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman, Smith entered the transfer portal on Dec. 8 and is searching for a new home ahead of his sophomore campaign.

7. Gerry Bohanon | Quarterback | Baylor

A season ago, Bohanon led Baylor to a Big 12 title before winning the Sugar Bowl against Ole Miss on New Year’s Day. He finished the season with 2,200 passing yards with 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions, adding 323 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. He came to Baylor in the 2018 class, ranked No. 210 in the country and No. 1 in his home state of Arkansas. He lost the starting quarterback competition this spring to sophomore Blake Shapen, and shortly after entered the transfer portal.

8. Clay Webb | Offensive Line | Georgia

Webb, a former On3 Consensus five-star recruit, put his name into the transfer portal on April 10 after three seasons at Georgia. Webb is a 6-foot-3, 290-pound offensive lineman who held a number of big-name offers coming out of high school.

9. Demond Demas | Wide Receiver | Texas A&M

Demas was a five-star recruit coming out of Tomball (Texas) High School and caught 15 passes for 235 yards and a touchdown last season. He entered the transfer portal on March 29. He was arrested by police in early March in connection with an assault family violence charge stemming from an incident which later led to more charges and an additional assault.

10. Quavaris Crouch | Linebacker | Michigan State

A former four-star recruit, Crouch was the No. 48 player in the Class of 2019 and the No. 1 player out of North Carolina. He spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Tennessee before heading to East Lansing last fall. During his lone season with the Spartans, he ranked tied for 10th in the Big Ten with 7.5 tackles per game.

Note: Florida A&M EDGE rusher Isaiah Land ranks second on the list of top available players. He announced Thursday night he was withdrawing from the portal. His name has not officially been removed.
