National Signing Day is finally here. Hundreds of high school football players already know their college destinations.

They include most of the top quarterbacks in the 2023 On3 Consensus. Four signal-callers are in the top 10 of the On3 Consensus.

The On3 Consensus is a state-of-the-art resource in the recruiting industry. Unlike other consensus ratings, the On3 Consensus weight each of the four major recruiting services evenly and gradually increases the number of five-stars and four-star recruits as evaluators learn more about each recruit and obtain more data.

Here is a list of the top 10 quarterbacks in the On3 Consensus:

1. 5-star Arch Manning
School: New Orleans Isidore Newman
Status: Enrolled at Texas
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 1
On3 NIL Valuation: $3.7M
Scouting Summary: “Possesses a pure throwing motion with one of the quickest releases we’ve seen from a high school quarterback prospect in recent cycles. Those mechanics pair with a strong arm to make Manning one of the more natural and accurate passers in the 2023 cycle. Has the ability to carve up opposing defenses when kept clean inside the pocket. Has good field vision with the ability to find open receivers downfield. Touts polished footwork and the capability of picking up yards in scramble situations. Has filled out a big frame over his high school career, entering his senior year as the most physically developed top quarterback in the 2023 cycle. Also carries a substantial mental load for a high school quarterback with the responsibility of setting protections. Added velocity as a senior showing improved zip on passes.”

2. 5-star Dante Moore
School: Detroit Martin Luther King
Status: Signed with UCLA
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 3
On3 NIL Valuation: $770K
Scouting Summary: “Pure pocket passer who is one of the more accurate and efficient quarterbacks in the deep 2023 cycle. Checks in at under 6-foot-2 and around 205 pounds with a hand size around 9.5 inches. Skilled as a touch passer with the ability to layer throws and deliver with accuracy and nuance. Has a quick, natural release that aids in the short passing and RPO game. Shows a good arm both on video and in multiple neutral settings – camps, 7-on-7’s and all-star games. Capable of hitting on deep shots off of play action. Emerged as one of the top quarterbacks in the cycle as a freshman in high school… Does not appear to be quite the athlete or run threat as some of the other top quarterbacks in the cycle at this time. Will need to continue improving his movement skills and foot quickness to maximize his long-term upside.”

3. 5-star Nico Iamaleava
School: Long Beach (Calif.) Warren
Status: Enrolled at Tennessee
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 6
On3 NIL Valuation: $1.2M
Scouting Summary: “High-upside signal caller who has the best physical tools among quarterbacks in the 2023 cycle as a high school prospect. Has one of the strongest arms in the cycle, generating considerable velocity on his throws in camp settings and on Friday nights. Tall with a slender build at round 6-foot-6, 195 pounds with a 10-inch hand. Has considerable room to fill out. Boasts a whippy throwing motion despite his longer arms. Effortlessly drives the ball downfield while targeting vertical routes. One of the better 7-on-7 quarterbacks we’ve seen in several cycles, highlighted by a dominant showing at Overtime’s OT7 event. A bouncy, fluid mover who doubles as a national-level volleyball player. Uses his twitchy athleticism to evade pass rushers and pick up yards on the ground. Still developing in terms of some technical aspects of the game. Plays in a high school offense that is heavily skewed towards quick passes and screens. Can continue to improve his overall consistency.”

4. 5-star Jackson Arnold
School: Denton (Texas) Guyer
Status: Signed with Oklahoma
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 8
On3 NIL Valuation: $660K
Scouting Summary: “Tough, live-armed quarterback who quickly rose to be the top 2023 signal caller in Texas. Looks like the most ready to play quarterback in the 2023 cycle. Plays for one of the top high school programs in the Dallas Metroplex and led his team to the state title game as a junior and a deep playoff run as a senior. The most productive five-star quarterback in 2023, while also facing the toughest competition of the group. Plays in a spread-iso offensive scheme that heavily utilizes play action downfield passes and power running between the tackles. Flashes a quick release in cams and Friday night settings. Shows a strong arm with the ability to generate velocity on intermediate and downfield throws. A light-footed athlete who consistently escapes pressure and makes plays out of the pocket. One of the tougher top quarterbacks in the 2023 cycle, carrying a considerable rushing load. A physical runner who embraces contact. Has the speed to pull away at the second level.”

5. 5-star Malachi Nelson
School: Los Alamitos (Calif.)
Status: Enrolled at USC
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 11
On3 NIL Valuation: $845K
Scouting Summary: “Quick-armed, accurate passer with strong functional movement skills. Has a thinner frame, measuring around 6-foot-3, 180-pounds with a 9-inch hand. Has been considered one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2023 cycle dating back to early in his high school career. A natural, nuanced passer with a quick release. Shows some aggressive tendencies in throwing downfield. Has touch with the ability to layer his throws. Accurate with good ball placement dating back to his sophomore spring season which was shortened due to COVID-19. Solid arm strength, which could improve with overall strength progression. Adept at running the quick game out of spread looks, flipping the ball out quick to the boundary. Loose and fluid in his movements. Plays with bouncy footwork and lower body twitch. Looks to pass first, but has good burst as a runner with the ability to run zone read or pick up yards when the play breaks down.”

6. 4-star Jaden Rashada
School: Pittsburg (Calif.)
Status: Signed with Arizona State
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 73
On3 NIL Valuation: $407K
Scouting Summary: “Thinner-framed passer with impressive arm talent that keeps his cool when facing pressure. Has the arm strength to drive the ball downfield and into tight windows. Possesses the functional movement skills to escape the pass rush. Three-level passer who has the ability to layer the football. Productive player last season throwing for 2,220 yards and 27 touchdowns to 5 interceptions. Can be inconsistent with his ball placement, but showed flashes of improvement in camp and 7-on-7 settings this spring. Should develop quicker processing with more reps in the same offense after playing in three different systems… On the older end of the spectrum for quarterbacks in his class. Has the physical tools and arm talent to become the face of an elite-level power five program.”

7. 4-star Eli Holstein
School: Zachary (La.)
Status: Enrolled at Alabama
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 84
On3 NIL Valuation: $348K
Scouting Summary: “Productive passer with a well-rounded skill set. Physically developed and filled out, checking in at 6-foot-3.5 and around 225 pounds with a 10-inch hand. Shows a good arm in camp settings and on Friday nights. Excels in the short and intermediate passing game. Able to quickly read defenders’ leverage and deliver accurate passes. Strong in the RPO game. Well-schooled and capable of going through multiple progressions. Tests as a very strong athlete in the combine setting… Productive and efficient over the course of the season, though his efficiency dipped a bit in the playoffs. Showed the ability to pick up yards with his legs on scrambles and broken plays. Can continue improving on his deep ball and vertical passing. Also has room to improve mechanically – notably his posture and lower body flexibility within his throwing motion.”

8. 4-star Christopher Vizzina
School: Birmingham (Ala.) Briarwood Christian
Status: Enrolled at Clemson
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 86
On3 NIL Valuation: $483K
Scouting Summary: “Quarterback with translatable tools and the best feet among top signal callers in the 2023 cycle. Has ideal size at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds. Consistently shows twitchy, explosive movements in his lower body. Plays with outstanding feet and has some of, if not the best pocket movement and awareness of top quarterbacks in the 2023 cycle. A loose, athletic mover. Comfortable stepping up into the pocket or moving outside to escape pressure. Shows a strong arm in game and camp settings. Primarily delivers from the same arm slot on most passes. Was among the more efficient passers among top 2023 quarterbacks as a junior, though he did not have quite the number of attempts as many others. Has the burst and top-end play speed to present a considerable run threat, rushing for 15 touchdowns as a junior.”

9. 4-star Avery Johnson
School: Maize (Kan.)
Status: Enrolled at Kansas State
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 104
On3 NIL Valuation: $216K
Scouting Summary: “Three-sport star who is one of the more athletic quarterbacks in the 2023 cycle. Dynamic athlete for the position with speed and leaping ability that stacks up among wide receiver and defensive back prospects. An explosive mover both as an off-schedule playmaker and runner in the open field. Led his team to a state title appearance as a junior, passing for 2,550 yards and 20 touchdowns against six interceptions while rushing for 1,080 yards and 22 more scores. Makes plays against pressure in part due to his outstanding foot quickness. Has an elongated motion on Friday nights, but looks to have made progress in tightening things up prior to his senior season. Showed improved passing skills in the camp setting, generating good velocity and spinning the ball the best we’ve seen.”

10. 4-star Austin Novosad
School: Dripping Springs (Texas)
Status: Enrolled at Oregon
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 113
On3 NIL Valuation: $104K
Scouting Summary: “Stat-stuffing pure pocket passer with clean mechanics and the ability to throw with timing and touch. Plays in an air-it-out system at the high school level that puts up tons of points. Completed 63.6 percent of his passes for 3,399 yards and 40 touchdowns against 9 interceptions at 10.39 yards per attempt as a junior. Has a natural, tight throwing motion and spins the ball well. Most comfortable when sitting back and delivering from the pocket. Shows nuance as a passer with the ability to deliver well-located throws to all levels. Has room to add mass to his 6-foot-3, 185-pound frame. Tests as a solid athlete, running a 4.87 second 40-yard dash and jumping 34 inches in the vertical. Can do a better job of translating that athleticism to the field.”
