Four-star RB Taevion Swint stays locked in with UCF

Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola On3 Industry four-star running back Taevion Swint announced Friday he’d be honoring his long-standing commitment and signing with UCF.
Ole Miss tried to make a late push. Swint also heard from Florida State among others.
“It’s been UCF all along,” Swint told On3. “The love for it and love of the game they have for me.”
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Swint is having a huge senior season. Heading into his playoff game on Friday he has already racked up 1,600 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns averaging 10.5 yards per carry over 13 games. He’s added two more receiving scores.
Ranked by the On3 Industry as the No. 23 running back nationally in the class, Swint is one of the jewels of this UCF recruiting class.

“I feel like I’m going to make a huge impact at UCF,” Swint said. He’s been committed since April of 2023 but the coaching change following this season opened the door at the end for others to make a pitch. “Even though we had a bump in the road I feel we’re going to be good this coming year.”
Swint has 4,480 career rushing yards and 62 scores. The four-year varsity starter has another 42 receptions for 525 yards and 10 scores.
