There are only a few more weeks left of the 2021 season for one player to separate in the race for the Heisman. The odds out of Las Vegas show a hotly contested competition at the top, followed by a long list of long shots.

While Alabama quarterback Bryce Young remains ahead in the odds for the 2021 Heisman Trophy, as he has almost all season. However, there’s a close battle for the No. 2 spot. Michigan State running back Kenneth Walker III and Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud have even odds to win the Heisman after week 11. Walker surpassed Stroud last week but the two are neck and neck again, with Matt Corral close behind in fourth.

Check out who Vegas Insider is giving the best odds at taking the podium ahead of Week 12.

Heisman Favorites

Bryce Young, Alabama (+150)

Kenneth Walker III, Michigan State (+300)

C.J. Stroud, Ohio State (+300)

Matt Corral, Ole Miss (+500)

The Underdogs

Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh (+2000)

Sam Hartman, Wake Forest (+3000)

Caleb Williams, Oklahoma (+3000)

TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State (+3000)

Desmond Ridder, Cincinnati (+5000)

Jordan Davis, Georgia (+5000)

Brian Robinson, Alabama (+8000)

Will Anderson Jr., Alabama (+8000)

Bryce Young had another exceptional game for the Crimson Tide versus New Mexico State. He went 21 for 23 with 270 passing yards and five touchdowns on the way to a 59-3 win. Young’s overall completion percentage at 70.9% is seventh in the country. To stay on top of the odds, Young must lead Bama past Arkansas and Auburn to end the regular season.

C.J. Stroud looked dominant on Saturday in Ohio State’s win over Purdue. The freshman completed 31 of 38 pass attempts for 361 yards and five touchdowns. All it would take is one bad game by Bryce Young to move Stroud into first place in the Heisman race.

Kenneth Walker III ran into the Heisman competition after a five-touchdown performance for the Spartans in the 37-33 win over Michigan three weeks ago. Walker led the Spartans past Maryland this weekend, rushing for 143 yards and two touchdowns. He leads all other running backs in the nation by 100 or more rushing yards.

Ole Miss QB Matt Corral did not have as productive a Saturday versus Texas A&M but he got the job done. He went 24 of 37 for 247 yards and a score in the 29-19 win. It was his first game of the season to have net negative rushing yardage.
