Week 1 of the 2025 college football season was a historic one for TV networks as four games topped the 10 million-viewers mark. Now, it’s on to Week 2, and the full announcer schedule is out.

More notable games are on tap in Week 2, headlined by the showdown in Norman between Michigan and Oklahoma. It marks a homecoming for Sherrone Moore, who played offensive line for the Sooners before embarking on his coaching career. Additionally, the CyHawk rivalry between Iowa and Iowa State awaits in the early window.

Of course, there are more notable games throughout the weekend. Here is the broadcaster schedule for those key matchups in Week 2 of college football, as compiled by 506Sports.

Illinois at Duke

Channel: ESPN
Date/Time: Sept. 6, Noon ET
Announcers: Dave Pasch, Dusty Dvoracek

An intriguing matchup between Illinois and Duke gets things started in the Noon ET window. The Fighting Illini opted for continuity this year with multiple contributors returning, led by quarterback Luke Altmyer. The Blue Devils, meanwhile, dove into the transfer portal to land new starter Darian Mensah – who shined in his debut last week.

Iowa at Iowa State

Announcers: Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt

A storied rivalry is a highlight of the Week 2 slate as Iowa and Iowa State square off in the annual CyHawk matchup, a game the Cyclones won 20-19 last year. FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff will be in attendance for the showdown, and the duo of Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt will have the call.

Baylor at SMU

Channel: The CW
Date/Time: Sept. 6, Noon ET
Announcers: Rick Allen, Will Blackmon

The ACC’s partnership with The CW continues this year, meaning the network gets a huge intra-state showdown. Baylor will take on SMU at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in the early window as the Bears look to avoid an 0-2 start to the year against power conference opponents.

Ole Miss at Kentucky

Date/Time: Sept. 6, 3:30 p.m. ET
Announcers: Sean McDonough, Greg McElroy

The first SEC matchup of the year gets the prime 3:30 p.m. ET slot as Ole Miss and Kentucky kick off conference play. ESPN’s No. 2 booth of Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy will have the call from Lexington.

Kansas at Missouri

Another historic rivalry is finally renewed after a 14-year hiatus. Kansas and Missouri will play in the Border War game for the first time since the Tigers joined the SEC, and it will serve as one of the top games in the 3:30 p.m. ET window.

Oklahoma State at Oregon

Date/Time: Sept. 6, 3:30 p.m. ET
Announcers: Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson

CBS gets a matchup suddenly filled with storylines in Oklahoma State vs. Oregon. Cowboys coach Mike Gundy made headlines for his comments on the Ducks’ NIL commitment and Dan Lanning’s response added to the discussion, as did Gundy’s clarification. CBS’ lead crew of Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson will be in Eugene for the game.

USF at Florida

Channel: SEC Network
Date/Time: Sept. 6, 4:15 p.m. ET
Announcers: Dave Neal, Fozzy Whitaker

SEC Network will have another intriguing in-state showdown between USF and Florida at The Swamp. The Bulls became one of the stories of Week 1 as they handled Boise State with ease in their season opener, setting up the matchup with DJ Lagway and the Gators on Saturday.

Michigan at Oklahoma

The biggest game of Week 2 gets the primetime treatment as Oklahoma and Michigan square off. Two of the most-talked-about quarterbacks highlight the matchup as John Mateer goes up against Bryce Underwood. ESPN’s College GameDay will be in attendance, and the lead crew of Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will be in the booth.

Arizona State at Mississippi State

Date/Time: Sept. 6, 7:30 p.m. ET
Announcers: Dave Flemming, Brock Osweiler

Throughout the week, Arizona State has been practicing with cowbells as it gets ready to make the trip to Starkville to take on Mississippi State. The Sun Devils are looking to recapture the magic they found a year ago when they won the Big 12 while the Bulldogs are looking to get on track in Year 2 under Jeff Lebby.

Vanderbilt at Virginia Tech

Channel: ACC Network
Date/Time: Sept. 6, 7:30 p.m. ET
Announcers: Wes Durham, Steve Addazio

As Vanderbilt looks to continue its upward trajectory after last year’s success, Virginia Tech is trying to bounce back after last week’s loss to South Carolina in Atlanta. ACC Network will have Saturday’s matchup with Wes Durham and Steve Addazio on the call.
