Emotions and nerves get high on Saturdays in the SEC. Playing in the heat does not help, especially when a rival is on the other side of the ball. Just ask LSU linebacker Whit Weeks, who lost his pregame lunch during the first quarter.

Weeks seemed to be looking toward the sideline for a play call before getting caught throwing up on camera. His mouthguard made its way to the ground too and Weeks reached his arm out there to grab it. Not the most appeasing moment of the game.

Thankfully, none of his teammates were around to catch a stray. Shortly after, Weeks lined up and began to direct traffic before Ole Miss snapped the ball.

Big picture, the star linebacker remained on the field, for the most part. If his stomach was an issue, it’s not enough to keep him on the field. But maybe something to monitor moving forward if Weeks misses a play or two at times. You can check out the full moment here.

Weeks is as important a defensive player on the LSU roster. His presence in the middle is the glue that keeps everything together. Head coach Brian Kelly could not ask for a better leader out there either, giving a ton of energy to the program during his time in Baton Rouge.

However, playing against Ole Miss is no easy task. Even with some quarterback shuffling, the Rebels possess a high-powered offense. If Weeks can keep everything down, his play might wind up being the difference.

Sister of Whit Weeks supposedly not happy with Landry Kiffin

The biggest couple in the college football world is currently LSU linebacker Whit Weeks and the daughter of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, Landry. An Instagram post set social media ablaze before Saturday’s game, announcing their relationship to the world. But one thing has been made certain — Landry Kiffin is cheering for her father to win.

Well, not everybody in the Weeks family took that news well. ESPN’s Sean McDonough shared a hilarious anecdote about Weeks’ younger sister, Kate, being upset with Kiffin over her rooting interests. In her mind, the boyfriend (and LSU) should win out.

“Whit told us his 12-year-old sister, the youngest of the four children in the family, is very upset that Landry is not cheering for Whit, her boyfriend,” McDonough said during the first quarter. “It’s blood you’re talking about, Landry and her Dad.”
