Arkansas transfer center Zvonimir Ivisic committed to Illinois, On3’s Joe Tipton confirmed. He will now join his twin brother, Tomislav, in the Fighting Illini frontcourt.
Ivisic started his career at Kentucky before ultimately opting to stay with John Calipari at Arkansas. This past season with the Razorbacks, he averaged 8.3 points and 4.5 rebounds while making 35 appearances, including 19 starts.
As a freshman at Kentucky in 2023-24, Ivisic averaged 5.5 points and 3.3 rebounds. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Zvonimir and Tomislav Ivisic are both natives of Croatia. They will provide a unique pairing for Brad Underwood and Illinois next season following a Round of 32 exit against Kentucky in this year’s NCAA Tournament.
As a freshman this past year at Illinois, Tomislav Ivisic emerged as one of the top playmakers on the roster. He ranked second on the Fighting Illini roster with 13 points per game while adding a team-leading 7.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks on average.

Zvonimir Ivisic’s Arkansas team, though, made it to the Sweet Sixteen before falling to Texas Tech. As both teams looked to make their runs, Tomislav had a message about keeping pace with his brother and the Razorbacks.
“He can’t be the one that went further than me, so I’ll do my best to match his performance,” Tomislav Ivisic said, via the Chicago Tribune’s Colleen Kane.
Zvonimir Ivisic is the first transfer portal addition for Illinois this cycle since the window opened last week. The Fighting Illini went 22-13 overall this past season, including a 12-8 mark in Big Ten play. They entered the NCAA Tournament as a No. 6 seed and, after defeating Xavier in the first round, saw the season come to an end with a loss to Kentucky in the Round of 32.
Illinois also has two recruits coming in from the high school trail, led by four-star SG Brandon Lee. A product of Elizabeth (N.J.) The Patrick School, he is the No. 92 overall prospect and No. 1-ranked recruit in the state of New Jersey from the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
