502 Circle - Louisville Cardinals Collective

502Circle, an independent Louisville-focused NIL Collective, was established to provide opportunities for Cardinal student-athletes to “maximize their NIL based on their hard-earned success.” The platform officially launched in August 2022. 502Circle “has been created as a wholly unique and cutting-edge NIL collective, incorporating best-in-class technology. 502Circle will be operated in compliance with state NIL laws and NCAA rules," the group says. "It will make it easy for supporters to become involved financially, thus translating to monetary gains for UofL student-athletes.” Founded by Marc Spiegel, a technology entrepreneur and University of Louisville alumnus, along with a select group of University of Louisville alumni and fans, 502Circle is all about the UofL community and its support for student-athletes. LEARFIELD’s Louisville Sports Properties entered an official partnership with 502Circle to make it the official NIL Collective of the Louisville Cardinals in early September 2023. The collective will now have the ability to use university marks and logos with athletes and their NIL activities. As an official partner, 502Circle will also be able to promote its efforts in-venue at UofL athletic events, as well as during Cardinal radio broadcasts and through other marketing channels.
