Baylor QB Sawyer Robertson releases Bass Pro Shop trading cards

Baylor quarterback Sawyer Robertson has accomplished a first in NIL history. He’s inked a partnership with Leaf Trading Cards and Bass Pro Shops to release a unique trading card.
This three-way collaboration marks a major milestone, blending college athletics, NIL partnerships and collectibles in a way that’s never been done before. As part of the agreement, Robertson held a meet-and-greet last weekend at a Bass Pro Shop in Waco.
Baylor took off last season when Robertson got comfortable in the offense. A full offseason with offensive coordinator Jake Spavital working with Robertson as the starter has helped produce similar numbers this season.
Robertson has thrown for 2,058 yards with 19 touchdowns and only four interceptions with a 63.7% completion percentage. Baylor is 4-2 on the season and is at TCU on Saturday, going head-to-head with Josh Hoover. Viewed as one of the top quarterbacks in college football this season, Sawyer Robertson currently has +10000 odds to win the Heisman Trophy, per BetMGM.

“Josh and Sawyer are remarkably similar young men,” TCU head coach Sonny Dykes said. “They’re both young people who have strong faith. They’re both young people that have strong families, come from athletic families. Both are successful guys and guys that had to do things the right way. They’re to me what college athletics is all about.”
A former Mississippi State transfer, Robertson has a $1.7 million On3 NIL Valuation. His On3 NIL Valuation ranks No. 23 in college football and No. 34 in the NIL 100, the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation.
